چکیده
Abstract Background Interest in the use of natural feed additives as an alternative to antimicrobials poultry industry has increased recent years because risk bacterial resistance. One most studied groups are polyphenolic compounds, given their advantages over other types and easy potentiation effects when complexes formed with metal ions. Therefore, objective present study was evaluate impact dietary supplementation copper acetate (CA), curcumin (CR), combination (CA-CR) against Salmonella Typhimurium colonization, intestinal permeability, cecal microbiota composition broiler chickens through a laboratory infection model. S. recovery determined on day 10 post-challenge by isolating homogenates right tonsil (12 per group) Xylose Lysine Tergitol-4 (XLT-4) novobiocin nalidixic acid. Intestinal integrity indirectly fluorometric measurement fluorescein isothiocyanate dextran (FITC-d) serum samples from blood obtained d post- challenge. Finally, analysis performed using content left caecal 5 group sequencing V4 region 16S rRNA gene. Results The results showed that two independent studies, all experimental treatments were able significantly reduce S . colonization tonsils (CT, P < 0.0001) compared positive control (PC) group. However, only CA-CR effective treatment reducing counts both studies. Furthermore, concentration treated CR lower PC ( = 0.0084), which is related decrease permeability therefore integrity. effect further supported gene sequences Linear discriminant size (LEfSe) since enriched (LDA score > 2.0 0.05) groups. In addition, Coprobacillus , Eubacterium Clostridium higher On contrary, Fecalibacterium Enterococcus CR, unknown genus Erysipelotrichaceae at CA-CR, Lachnospiraceae CA more abundant respectively. Conclusions maintain better homeostasis might be achieved modulation microbiota.

متن کاملInfluence of Salmonella enterica serovar Enteritidis infection on the composition of chicken cecal microbiota
BACKGROUND Infection of newly hatched chicks with Salmonella enterica serovar Enteritidis (S. Enteritidis) results in an inflammatory response in the intestinal tract which may influence the composition of gut microbiota. In this study we were therefore interested whether S. Enteritidis induced inflammation results in changes in the cecal microbiota. To reach this aim, we compared the cecal mic...
